    How many different manufacturers have put their badge on the Mini automobile?

    		Quite a few. Besides BMW which has revived the Mini in modern times, here are some other manufacturers who dabbled in Mini production: British Motor Corporation (BMC) and British Leyland (after merger), Innocenti, Authi, Cooper Car Compnay, Austin Rover Group.

    		Innocenti in Italy. Originally they made ordinary Minis, but then later redesigned the body http://www.austin-rover.co.uk/index.htm?inniminif.htm It might appeal to the Italians, but I think it's just boring.

    Not called Minis were the Wolselely Hornet and Riley Elf, but they were Minis with an extended boot and posh radiator grills (and posh dashboards, too. http://www.motorbase.com/vehicle/by-id/1063/ and http://www.motorbase.com/vehicle/by-id/710/
    And then there was the Mini-Marcos, one of which reached 146 mph in 1967. On 10" wheels, that is frightening. These were built in England, Ireland and South Africa.
