    		Arthur Hunnicutt played Davy Crockett in the 1955 movie "The Last Command."

    Billy Joel's 11th studio album was "Storm Front" which contained the song "We Didn't Start the Fire", Billy's minor history lesson. Davy Crockett is explicitly mentioned in the 7th verse (meant to represent the year 1955) of the song with the following lyrics:

    Einstein, James Dean, Brooklyn's got a winning team
    Davy Crockett, Peter Pan, Elvis Presley, Disneyland
