I love studying ancient Egypt. Akhenaten and Nefertiti are probably my favorits. He introduced monotheism to Egypt at a time when no one else the Egyptians were in contact with were doing anything else like it. He was a true revolutionary, though a horrible pharaoh who took Egypt from great prosperity to almost financial ruins.

In history many monarchs have been known as King and Queen. I can understand that because Queen Elizabeth II was an heir to the throne that her husband would be known as Prince and not a King, but what would happen if it was reversed and a male was the King, would his wife be called Queen or Princess?

Why is it so, in Britain, that the wife of a male monarch, e.g. the Queen Mother, takes on her husband's rank and style upon marrying, becoming Queen, while the husband of a female monarch, e.g. Prince Philip, does not his wife's rank and style?

Who was England's smallest queen, and (of course) how tall was she (and her husband too while we're at it)?
