    "A single bird, small, leaps inside my chest." What literary device is being used (similie, oxymoron, metaphor, etc.)?

    		I would call this a metaphor. To read it in context, type the phrase into Google--the link is several lines long, so I won't include it here.

    		Yea I guess it could be a metaphor too. It is not true and is kind of exxagerating the fact that a bird is going into that person's chest. It may have a deeper meaning... And it's not a simile since it has no as or other thing...
