    Chlorine has also been used recently in the Iraq war.

    It was also used in the Rif War in Spanish Morocco in the 1920s.

    * Egypt against North Yemen in 1963-1967;[4]
    * Iraq against Iran in 1981 and 1983-1988;[4]
    * Iraq against Kurds in 1988;[4]
    * Possibly Sudan against insurgents in the civil war, in 1995 and 1997[4]
