    I used AltaVista for a translation & it just gave me the same word. They just would pronounce it a little differently.

    "Tramposo" would be commonly used, though it's closest meaning might be "cheater." (How often do you use the word "trickster" in English?)

    Altavista gave me bromista for joker, bromista práctico is practical joker. Swindler produced estafador.
