What does it mean when your feet sleep?

    Question #95004. Asked by dj168. (Apr 24 08 12:03 AM)

    Taxicab3

When your feet fall asleep it is a form of "paresthesia." This is a tingling or numbness feeling that could result from numerous things, some pathological, some not. The most common reason our feet "fall asleep" is when we sit on them or block blood flow in some other way. Without the proper nutrients our nerves can't send signals to the brain. Hence our feet are "sleeping."
