    I don't think so.

    Quote:
In 2003, Baptists from Canada and the United States staged a flag burning of the Canadian Flag outside of the Supreme Court of Canada in Ottawa, Ontario. This was to protest same-sex marriage that was being decided with the Canadian court system.

    No, it definetely isn't.

    Quote:
University students who burned a Canadian flag to protest against Canadian troops in East Timor have outraged war veterans, fellow students and the university adminstration.

The demonstration involved a few students at the University of Brandon, angry at Canada's involvement in peacekeeping in East Timor.

The flag-burning outraged war veterans, some of whom would like the burning of the country's flag made illegal. It is not against the law in Canada to burn the Canadian flag.

No disciplinary action was taken against the students, though the university administration issued a a statement condemning the flag-burning.
