    In the TV series 'Smallville' does Lana ever have a happy, non-panicked phone conversation with anyone?

    		Yes, in season 1, it's usually with her boyfriend or her aunt. In later (3-4) seasons she has friendly small talk chats with Chloe. And the random times it's looked like she'll get together with Clark, they've had pleasant conversations. Specifically, in Season 3's episode "Forsaken," Clark calls Lana and asks her to come to dinner (so he can reveal his secret to her). Reference: I've watched the show.
