According to http://www.luftgrop.co.za/za/calculate.cgi?what=flight&home=LON&dest=PHX&x=47&y=9

The flight time is 11 hours 20 minutes with a total distance of 8480 km or 5269 miles with an average air speed of 410 knots. This assumes a direct flight.

The answer above assumes a standard/averaged tail or head wind. This is the most important factor in determining the duration of the flight. The other factors are but not limited to temperature/time of year, weather conditions and type of Commercial Airliner used.

NOTE:

bmrsnr's link states: The calculation does not take weather, airport queue or different aiports flight speed in consideration. The flight time should be considered approximate.
