Who were the two violinists, perhaps the most famous of the past century, who were also pianists and recorded at least one piece at the piano? One of those pieces was the original for piano which he transcribed for violin and piano and made very popular. The other is a popular Spanish piece, played in a satirical mood by this complex guy.

One of these violinists was probably Fritz Kreisler, who arranged any number of pieces for violin and/or piano. In fact, his wife thought he was a better pianist than he was a violinist. (Arthur Abell, the music critic, described his piano playing as having "true Viennese lilt".) I can't say who the other one was, as far as I know Pablo da Sarasate was not much of a pianist...

Yes, Fritz recorded the original piano Humoresque.
About the other guy, he played a popular spanish
theme. I didn't said that he was spaniard. He wasn't.
