    		The tallest wooden house can be found in Russia's far north-west with a height of 144ft. You can't miss it if you take a trip to Arkhangelsk as all the surrounding houses are mainly two or three stories. This stands at twelve.

    This is the house that Nikolai Sutyagin built and the only way to the top is up hand-carved wooden stairs. It is under constant threat of demolition not only because he never applied for planning permission but that it is crumbling. 15 years ago the former convict started this project in a bid to show his neighbours who the wealthiest man in the city was. The city authorities claim that the building spoils the town view and demand to reduce it to 2 stories in line with the surrounding houses but he refuses.

    I'm looking for the name of a TV mini series movie/show. We had rented them from the video store. It's about a boy who is traveling to different worlds looking for pieces of a machine to get him back home (I think.) He is gathering something along his way. He travels to different worlds with a "professor" and maybe another person. Along the way he visits 5-8 different worlds (each was a different movie.) They were all entitled "Somebody and the Land of ???" One world had to do with giant eggs, one world a town of toys, and the end was a land something like a fantasy "Camelot." My children watched these movies anywhere from 1988 - 1993. I'm hoping someone can help me end my frazzled search.
