The one and only Billy Bob Thornton:

He performed the Warren Zevon song The Wind on the tribute album Enjoy Every Sandwich: Songs of Warren Zevon. Thornton recorded a cover of the Johnny Cash classic "Ring of Fire" for the Oxford American magazine's Southern Music CD in 2001.

Billy Bob Thornton also performed backing vocals on three tracks on the album The Wind - which was more strictly speaking Warren Zevon's last album.
Billy Bob and Warren had become friends when they were neighbours and realised that they both suffered from OCD.
