Which word beginning with the letter D can mean pirate treasure? It's not doubloon, and it is an English Word.

Question #97199. Asked by jimmycarlos. (Jul 03 08 10:17 AM)

Does it make a difference that it is spelled:

    Doubloon?

Doubloons have also been minted in Portuguese colonies, where they went by the name "dobrĂ£o", with the same meaning.

The closest i can get is this:

"Derriere" is a legitimate English word for "buttocks":

    http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/derriere

And from here, "buttocks" is synonymous with "booty" which is synonymous with "pirate treasure".

Nope, it's not dubloon or any spelling of it nor a crossword answer. I was talking to a friend of mine and I remember he used a word to describe "treasure at the beahc in the sand". And I can only remember it started with D. It's in the back of my mind, so If I see it, I'll know it.
