    Who were the White Rajahs?

    		The White Rajahs refers to a dynasty that ruled Kingdom of Sarawak from 1841 to 1946.

    James Brooke the first White Rajah was given a large piece of land by the Sultan of Brunei. The kingdom grew in size during the rule of the first two Brookes, James and his nephew Charles by leasing or annexing territory from Brunei.
