    Why doesn't water from a waterfall ever stop flowing?

    		Waterfalls do get dry sometimes.

    The waterfall known as Dry Falls was once the world's largest, but it no longer exists.

    		They stop flowing if they freeze up. There are photos of Niagara Falls frozen in 1911 at the following site:
