Vidkun Quisling, for one.
Quisling served in the Norwegian embassy in Moscow. Upon his return to Norway he entered politics and became known as a strong anti-Communist, based on what he had seen in the Soviet Union. He was appointed to the Norwegian cabinet in 1931 as Minister of Defense, and in 1933 formed the National Union, with principles based on those of the National Socialists in Germany.
After Norway was occupied by Germany in 1940, the National Union was declared the only legal party, and Quisling was appointed prime minister in 1943 - a position he held until the defeat of Germany in 1945. He was executed by the pro-Allied government in October 1945.
