The death penalty can be given for homosexuality in the following countries: Iran, Mauritania, Nigeria, Saudi Arabia, Somalia, Sudan, UAE and Yemen. It is worth noting that these countries have fairly stringent laws regarding any sort of extra-marital sex, be it hetero or homosexual.
