    What species of shark is known to take bites out of submarines?

    		There was an incident in which a cookiecutter shark took a bite out of the rubber sonar dome of a US Navy submarine, causing damage to the housing, and forcing the submarine out of service until the rubber could be replaced.

    		The cookiecutter also known as cigar shark. This shark was known to take bites out of submarines.

    		Cookie cutter sharks are nasty little guys that take round bites out of dolphins, whales and even submarines!
