What now increasingly popular and often home-made Southern Italian lemon liqueur does not contain any lemon juice in spite of its lemony name and taste?

    Question #98681. Asked by Flem-ish. (Aug 18 08 12:27 PM)

    Limoncello?

Limoncello is an Italian lemon liquer made from lemon zest, alcohol, water and sugar. It's a lovely bright yellow colour with a sweet lemony flavour, but lacks that tart, sour tang since it contains no lemon juice.
