    How many Athletics world records have been broken at the China Olympics?

    		As of August 21, eighty sports delegations won Olympic medals and thirty-seven world records were broken, according to information released at a joint International Olympic Committee (IOC) and Beijing Organizing Committee for the Games (BOCOG) press conference held on the morning of August 22.

    There have been a total of 237 gold medals, 238 silvers and 273 bronze medals awarded thus far in the Games.
