(3rd battle) Ypres, Belgium in 1917 June 07. one of the greatest battles of history was fought. In 1917, the Allies launched a massive attack upon the German positions, and the 3rd battle of Ypres commenced. British, Australians, New Zealanders, Canadians and two Irish divisions; the 36th Ulster Division and the 16th Irish Division. I am not so confident on this part....are they commemorated at Lone Tree Cemetery?
