Unfortunately, there's no test of Chrome on that page. This one does test it, but it's not the same test and much harder to understand quickly. To me it looks like Chrome uses less, but I'm not sure.

Personally, I choose a browser on other criteria. I wouldn't touch IE as I don't trust it (and prefer not to have something around that runs Active-X) and like to delete and block cookies in an easy operation. Similarly, I don't trust Chrome. Google are too much into info gathering. I don't know enough about Fx 3 to install it yet. I'm sticking to Fx 2 for the moment, with AdBlock Plus added to it.
(I block every advertising and info collecting firm's cookies on discovery, and delete irrelevant cookies every half-hour or so. It's no business of the ad firms where I go, and I don't revisit the irrelevant sites so their cookies aren't needed any more.)

I'm running Firefox 3.0.1 and it seems to work fine. (Although I don't use it for anything very complex; just browsing on a limited number of pages - most tabs I ever have open is 7 or 8.)
