A passage from a 17th century epic poem about the fall of man inspired this statue in a pleasant retreat of a park, said to be a unique representation of the subject. What is the statue?

Must be "The Fallen Angel" in the Parque del Buen Retiro in Madrid.

The poem, of course, is Milton's "Paradise Lost."

I don't know if it's my computer or that Wiki page, but it's acting weird. Here's another link:

This poem was inspired by Ramses II, by the writings on the Paris obelisk and the massive fallen statue of Ramses at Thebes. The name of the poem came from one of Ramses II's Greek names. Name the poem please.

My brother, marking out stops on a tour for literature and history-minded cyclists, recently sent me an inquiry about a "heavenly" sculpture said to have inspired an important American novel. A little research indicated that he had the wrong sculpture in mind and also that the title of the novel had actually been inspired by a line in a 17th-century poem by someone who was definitely interested in the before-and-afterlife. What novel am I talking about, and what poem might this be?

In an 'I Love Lucy' episode, Lucy attempts to cover up the damage she has done to an historic statue by posing at the statue itself. What was the name of the statue?
