    		As of 2005, the deepest known reef was one that lies in approximately 250 feet of water off the coast of southwest Florida on a submerged barrier-island named Pulley Ridge.

    		Good one, but I am looking for an exhibit that is more easily accessible than one found 250 feet below water.

    		Okay, I thought the living coral reef display being built as part of the new California Academy of Sciences in Golden Gate Park was cheating!

    		Excellent Anne !

    Yet another reason to visit the wonderful city by the bay. The Philippine Coral Reef exhibit at the CAS is fantastic. Admission was free today ( opening day ) but come during one of free days ( last Wednesday of the month ). There are other ways to get in free, just read the site.
