    		The answer to this question probably changes on a daily basis, particularly with the current volatility in the world's stockmarkets. As of March 6, 2008 Forbes listed Warrenn Buffett as the world's richest person, with a fortune estimated at $62 billion US. He earned his wealth through the company Berkshire Hathaway, which describes itself as "a diversified company with major interest in GEICO, life insurance, annuity sales and sales of jewelry."
