Well, I refer to this link which states that cangaroos also live in New Zealand "and a few surrounding island". So my question is: What islands?
Quote:
There are over 60 different species of kangaroos confirmed alive in Australia, New Guinea, New Zealand and a few surrounding islands.

But then again, this reference might be wrong. This page says that kangaroos do not live in the wild in New Zealand.

According to Wikipedia, wallabies are widespread in New Zealand. It does not indicate if they are natural or introduced. There are small breeding populations in other parts of the world, all of them are zoo escapees or have been introduced. They can be found in the upper regions of the Kalihi Valley on the Hawaiian Island of Oahu. There are a number of breeding populations in the British Isles. The Island of Lamby off the east coast of Ireland has them. About a hundred live on the Isle of Man.
