Well, I refer to this link which states that cangaroos also live in New Zealand "and a few surrounding island". So my question is: What islands? According to Wikipedia, wallabies are widespread in New Zealand. It does not indicate if they are natural or introduced. There are small breeding populations in other parts of the world, all of them are zoo escapees or have been introduced. They can be found in the upper regions of the Kalihi Valley on the Hawaiian Island of Oahu. There are a number of breeding populations in the British Isles.
