Willow sees a young boy next to an Egyptian monument in front of trident streets and recalls the sinister theft of royal locks. What is she thinking of?

    Question #99937. Asked by edmund80. (Oct 04 08 10:30 PM)

The only "royal locks" I can come up with were from a mummy...in France, not Rome.

Much nearer to the trident and obelisk are the locks of John Milton and Elizabeth Barrett Browning, not exactly royals.

Perhaps she is looking at the tomb of Nefertiti, consort of Ramses II whose mummy was the source of the stolen locks in queproblems's first link.

Willow is looking at the Obelisk of Rameses right there in Rome.

    This has a good picture

and this has different angles and more textual details.

Yes, the obelisk at the center of the Piazza del Popolo was from the reign of Ramesses II, whose locks of hair were stolen 30 years ago in France, thankfully now returned.
