How do Eskimos survive in the Arctic?

Wear warm clothing, live in Igloos (which are quite warm), and have a cultural ability to endure the bitter cold...They are amazing people.

Not many Eskimos, or rather Inuit nowadays, live in igloos. A lot live in modern housing and suffer most of the diseases of civilisation. One thing always puzzles me - how did they manage without fresh fruit of veg as a source of Vitamin C? Fish and blubber are good sources of many things vital to human life, but I've never heard of them containing Vit C.
