Depends on which locksmiths you choose, prices can range from quite cheap to very expensive.

Also depends on how many doors, level of security and country you are in.

It is not extremely difficult to change out a door lock yourself. The cost then depends on what you replace it with. Locksets vary broadly in style, material and finish, but to avoid redrilling anything, you may want to stick with something similar to the old one.
Schlage is a popular manufacturer in the US for door handles and hardware.

I am a certified locksmith and for me to come to a place or residence is $55.00 (cheap by standards). This includes re-keying one (1) lock cylinder.
I then charge anywhere from $7.00 to $12.00 per additional cylinder. (A cylinder is any place you place a key and turn.) It is usually more cost effective to go to HomeDepot or the like and buy new locksets that are KA (keyed alike - they come that way) if you have three or less locks to replace.
