The use of the term street value is potentially misleading when it is intended to convey the significance of the seizure as a loss to the traffickers.
The price of drugs rises steeply as they move down the distribution chain from point of importation. In the 1990s, for example, a gram of cocaine could sell on the streets of a U.S. city for about $75. That gram (1,000 milligrams) contained approximately 700 milligrams (mg) of pure cocaine—so that the "pure gram" price was about $106.
You will have to do the conversion to pounds yourself, Billy!

And it depends on what city you are refering to. Clearly the coke in Miami is cheaper than the coke in Cleveland. And the quality of the cocaine is another factor, dealers will mix their coke with all kind of powders to "increase" their supply.

More expensive than I thought, given that it doesn't have to travel that far (Columbia to Mexico to California to US-wide distribution). Bigger operation getting it to Europe. Over here, for anyone interested, it's a standard £40 per gram, but around £60-70 in richer London. The 'pure' cocaine, although even that will be bulked with allsorts, can reach £180.

Well, that's $8,000,000 divided by 758 = $10,554.09 per lb., divided by 454 grams in a lb. gives $23.25 per gram. So the "street value" in this case wouldn't be what the user would pay. Realizing there are about 28 grams in an ounce, this is pricey stuff. Saffron lovers, congratulate yourselves on your frugality!

According to the Drug Enforcement Administration, the street price of a gram of cocaine in 2005 was $20-$25 in New York, $30-$100 in Los Angeles and $100-$125 in Denver.
So, varies from city to city and depends on the purity, etc.
but, I'd say the ICE link is fairly accurate at $24 a pop.

It is dependent on the market locale. Cheaper in Miami than Maine.
Another note....It is difficult to find any "Gram of Cocaine" with a purity over twentyish percent. The 1980's are LOOONG gone.
As for $24.00 per Gram. Ca-Ca! $60.00 is the least one will pay "per gram" in New York. Buy it by the Kilo and maybe one can equate it to less than $30.00 per gram.
