The FunTrivia Treasure Hunt has begun!
As you play games and do other things on FunTrivia, you will slowly (over a long period of time) gather clues towards finding the hidden FunTrivia Treasure.
There are things to work out, things to discover! There are mysteries, lots of convoluted confusion, and a few red herrings to make it even wackier :)
This is an epic adventure, that will likely take quite some time and patience to complete.
HOW TO PARTICIPATE:
Just keep your eyes open. You will see some obvious clues. You will see some not-so-obvious clues. Play over a long period of time and things may start to make some sense.
DO NOT PARTICIPATE:
Do not even bother to participate if you are easily frustrated or have no patience. I'll warn you up front: this quest may very well be frustrating at times. That's by design ;) Slow and steady wins this race. You don't play this game as much as you "fall into" it. This hunt is not for everyone!
Some clues are numbered. These are fairly important clues for the mostpart (some are not). You will see these in a mixed-up fashion, so if you see clue #30, don't worry. Clues 1-29 will get to you eventually!
We discourage the sharing of clues. Some of the clues are tailored specifically to *you*. Other people using your personal clues may disqualify you. You will also find that there is competition for the treasure. Telling someone else how to get to it may very well thwart your efforts.
Feel free to discuss parts of the game with a few friends privately, but all of the fun is in discovering and putting things together. Please do not post clues or details publicly.
You might want to check out the FunTrivia forums and search for a post that talks a little bit about the treasure.
Good luck.... you're going to need it!
Remember: If you think that something makes no sense, it's because you don't have enough information yet. Time will fix that.
Awarded to the player who finds the magical pot of gold, hidden somewhere on FunTrivia! Keep an eye out for clues...
Please feel free to leave feedback for the site administrators. We will take all feedback into account as we tweak and
add new features.
The old reply to thread function was removed because it got to the point where people weren't even reading the
announcements and assuming, by default, that they were somehow being wronged or forgotten or insulted or abused or cheated out
of something in some manner.
