I reckon if it is not about harry then she should make Draco or someone like that the new voldermort and makes James, Albus and Lily (harry and ginny kids) enemies with Scorpious (draco kid) or something like that
So basically, Harry Potter, take 2?

I suppose she has 2 options...the past or the future...She could write about the history of hogwarts or skip to the future, about the kids. I opt for the past

the so-called 8th book is to be more of an encyclopedia of the Harry Potter world. Which is said to be giving more information on some of the characters, and explain some of the themes and their over all connections.

I heard she was going to write a prequel to Harry Potter and auction it off to charity. It'll just be the original copy though.

I think she should just leave HP as it is. Any books she might make will probably just disappoint excited readers...

I have to say, I might look forward to an eighth book. But I can agree with some of you who think she should stop. If it is like an encyclopedia, she may get her facts mixed up. I've seen it in some other books like that. But if she does the book on someone else, I for one would think it would be an interesting read, like she does it on the Marauders or on Harry and Ron's kids or something like that.

I hope she writes a story from the points of view of james potter and that because he is pure blood we will learn more about the wizarding world

supposedly J.K. Rowling has said she may write a sort of encyclopedia of the Harry Potter series. Maybe that is the "book 8" in question.
