Better day than the last two, details of which were too gruesome for posting here.

My day wasn't too bad.
Had an argument with someone at work (but that happens).
Feeling quite sad and angry at the moment because of the bushfire situation over east.

Went to use my credit card first time in a couple months was blocked by a person i spoke to regards a problem a month and half ago. When i rang they unblocked and i asked why it was blocked and was told a letter was returned not known at this address, so informed them i had never recieved a letter. I did have words however with a operative who spoke poor english and requested a person who i could understand and was cut off. Girl checked said yes i see and same person was who put block on card. I think it is time all call centres for English based credit cards and banking shoule be in the UK and it should be made law by this government

I had a really good day! I'm just getting over from a week long sickness, and I have already completed half of my midterms. God is good. :)

Every day is a good day! Life - isn't it amazing?
Yesterday was history
tomorrow is a mystery
today is a gift
that's why it's called the present

Gave blood this morning, did some chores, taking quizzes on here.
Watching the 60 mintues interview with the Preident now and finding all of his intervies on 60 mintues to be excellent and inofmative. Will watch it again later as well to pick up anything I missed while on here as well.

Had day off so went to bank and refinanced my mortgage! Even though the swines are charging me $8,500 to break my fixed term, with lower interest rates I'm still better off and have a shorter term! Staying away from Antigua with all my Ill-gotten gains tho!lol!

Sun is shining, the wind is not blowing for once, my dog is lying on my foot as I look the mountain with a cup of tea - today all is well with my world.

My day wasn't too bad.
Took the day off work to help out as we had my grandmother and my father both with medical appointments at the same time. (Which meant that since my mother couldn't be in too places at once she needed someone else to act as chauffeur for my Gran.)
Came back home, found some gift vouchers in the mail as I'd cashed in my frequent buyer points. (Have to enjoy that!).

Went into central London to see my son in a college concert. First half orchestral, second half singing, and he was in both. Good day out.
Poneke - fight you for Gary's squishy bit. Unless of course you think there's enough to go round? Perhaps we can share.

LOL Lesley...plenty to go round eh Gary? ;-)
Got rather annoyed today at a complete moron who left their dog to roam about the suburbs.
As a postie I understand that all the strange smells the mailbag brings to a dog's nose can be unsettling. But when a dipspit owner (with pants that don't cover his kidneys) won't take responsibility for his pet, especially when it bailed me up quite a ways from it's house... well then! Let's just say my verbosity was astounding.Left both dog and owner cowering!Dog Patrol was called and animal taken away...owner left with just his flash boy-racer car to play with.

What a splendid result! The last time I saw anything about postmen and women complaining about dogs, the attitude of the blessed Post Office seemed to be that it was a risk that went with the job. That having the odd extremity nibbled by a dog is something that they would have to learn to live with if they wanted to keep their job - and besides, we wouldn't want to alienate dog-owning customers, would we?
Wonder what Gary is thinking right now.
