Topic: How did your day go my dear?

Subject: How did your day go my dear?

Gentle but enlightening thread letting everyone know how your day was and how you are..

(As this seems to be a topic which many have enjoyed it would be a shame to lose it due to a technical glitch!)

Enjoy...

A very tiring day. It was my first day back doing the physical graft. I've had four weeks doing project work and Admin. It feels like my legs are going to drop off. I may relax with a glass or six of Pinot Grigio this evening. If I can find the strength to go to the fridge and open the bottle.

Well done there with the shoe shopping Sal...it can be dreadful shopping with my daughter, 'Do you like this?'..'No', and after the 20th time I start getting grumpy lol

I'm sure you'll manage to get to the fridge Mike, if you don't fall asleep first.

Lovely day here, have been out for lunch, feet up night here for some telly viewing later!

What a busy day, was up at 5am, too warm to sleep, pegged the washing out, emptied the dishwasher, got my daughter up for school and fropped her off at 0730 as she has an extra GCSE lesson on Tuesday and Friday mornings. I then went to work, my 4th day in my new job and I can say that I am getting there! I'm not doing very many hours a week though. I then went shopping, cleaned the windows, cooked dinner and stuff and that's been about it!

kelljo Hey everyone still nothing to report. On our way back to St Louis counts down again but still no liver. Internet still not working at home. Hopefully have it back up and running soon. We'll let you know for sure when we get that liver. Bye for now

I went to my doctor visit. My blood pressure is sky high, so was told to double my dose of blood pressure medicine.

High blood pressure seems the norm of late, Mine was high yesterday as well am normally a steady 82/124. Nurse said it is high but do not panic will check in 4 weeks if it is still up you may need tablets.

Things are pretty good. I didn't have to work today and it's chilly so I built a fire picked up the house and am going to visit with family later. My aunt had to put down their cat so I'll go visit with her for a while. He was at least 20 and about as big as a good sized raccoon. We'll miss him.

I don't know, but I suspect it was because he changed my medicine last month to a different kind. He says this one is better but just to double it and come back in two weeks. It was 184/93. Usually 130/70 which is stll a little high on the top number.

MunchkinGuy I'm feeling kinda sad, I sprained my ankle last week. *sniff*

Top figure of 130 isn't that high but 180 is a bit! Last time mine was measured at my GP's it was 120/80, but it was 150/90 at the hospital last week. Hospitals do that to you... Gary, I hope you'll go as long as possible without taking pills, and MunchkinGuy, I hope you'll be dancing again by the weekend.

Well another week over for me 'work' wise. I have enjoyed it more this week. My daughter is seeing her dad this weekend, so I'll have to pop out and buy him a Father's day card from her and a pressie, as she won't see him on the day. Think I'll have a 'chill out' weekend. I may even open a bottle or two of Chablis.

Got together with my father and a couple of uncles. Watched a couple of movies, ones where they know the entire movies by heart and me about half. Someone was usually a minute ahead of the next good line from the movie. Today's choices were "Gunga Din" and "Life of Brian".
