Went to the pics to see Angus Thongs and Perfect Snogging which was really good if you like that kind of thing. Ate some vanilla ice cream which was nice. |
Went shopping for school stuff and almost everything now just need to find a school bag and coat.
School stuff costs a fortune for all the files and stuff for sixth form.
Sitting resting my foot now as sprained my ankle tore the ligaments a few weeks ago and it is slowly improving.
Had a good day overall.

Tired and ready for that G & T. |
Funny how people talk about the credit crunch, but are in such a hurry to spend.
Long may it last !
Hope everyone enjoyed their weekend?

Tired too - its been a tough week, but enjoyable financially.|
Now a few days off to relax and catch up with other stuff.
Enjoy your holiday in Spain DD, I am sure you have earned a break driving your choochoo.

Spent the day in a large retail temple with a very beautiful lady. Apart from the weather (yuk), life doesn't get much better than that. |

What a difference 24 hrs makes, spent most of the morning in A & E after an accident, seems I have broken my shoulder(that would account for the pain) and the piece that has chipped off has cut and is irritating a tendon (or something like that), all I know is that I don't like pain and would rather be at work! Oh well, at least they expect the rain to stop sometimes soon.
Have a nice weekend all.

That stinks SMW, at least you are OK otherwise.|
Don't worry about work, there will be enough waiting when you get back lol.

Thanks my friend, am feeling like s*** the injection has worn off and the painkillers are not working grrrr! |

Crikey smw, I was also going to moan about the rain and you've done a nasty fracture. At least they let you go home which I think makes a lot of difference.|
It's the last day of Big Brother here so combined with rain most of the time had that on while I was in and out of the TV room. It stopped long enough to go on my bike to buy some food and has just stopped again when I'm on my way out.

Sorry to year about your accident Steve, take more water with it in future!|

Drove down to Wales for the day - lunch in favourite pub at the end of a road which goes nowhere - best sticky toffee pudding and butterscotch sauce on the planet! Still enjoying a week's holiday with smw and it hasnt rained for the last two days - now that is a bonus!|

Been trying to cut back on spending but everything i am planning for 2009 has become available at once so i need a small win on lottery only £500 to help the cause.|
Been in pain for a few days with foot and hands but thats life.

Spent all of yesterday at the hospital with the wife. She was undergoing an operation on her knee. Got home around 7.30pm.|
Something like that is worse than watching paint dry. I'm going to be a busy little bee for the next few days as Jill won't be able to walk far, and she's going to be bored out of her skull confined to the house for 48 hours.

Ouch Bob, know how sore Jill must be feeling this morning. Been there, worn the t-shirt and cannot stress enough how important she does the physio exercises. Weleda arnica massage balm works wonders once the wound has healed.|
No crutches allowed - so my consultant stressed!

Wish Jill well for us, Bob. I expect she'll be scampering about like a two-year-old when she's finished mending.|

Thanks guys, I passed the messages on. She had an arthroscopy with lateral release. She's already moving better. Physio starts in about a week.|

Still waiting for new central heating boiler to be fitted|
Still waiting for Severn Trent to fix the water leak outside
Still waiting for and Indian summer rather than an early winter
Still waiting for ~Steve's laptop to be mended
All in all pretty cheesed off!
