Topic: How did your day go my dear?

Subject: How did your day go my dear?

Gentle but enlightening thread letting everyone know how your day was and how you are..

(As this seems to be a topic which many have enjoyed it would be a shame to lose it due to a technical glitch!)

Enjoy...

Glad to hear England is now free to move about. We in Arizona are going to get snow all next week, if the weather folks are right. I hope not, my company has paid so much to be on TV, and we should be reaping the benefits next week, but not if our customers hole up in their homes. Crossed fingers.

I am on holiday so things are wonderful.

Went down to the beach this morning and had a swim ( wallow in the shallows really). Huge storm this afternoon.

Had heaps of rain, wish it would slacken off a bit. Then again, the farmers need it after all that drought.

Interesting thread. Why have I never seen it until now?

About two months ago, myself and a few friends spent the day helping a mutual friend move into a new house. On New Year's Eve the friend was killed in a car accident within view of her own driveway. She was a single mother with 4 children under the age of ten. Today, this same group will be moving everything back out of the new house and into storage. Not looking forward to this.

Wayman, how awful. I don't envy you at all. What is going to happen with the children? Don't answer if you don't feel up to it though.

It was OK; I worked a half day, a friend was over to visit and the sun is out. I will enjoy it more when the weather warms up a bit. I am in Minnesota.

My day has been terrific, taught some kids, or rather tried to teach some kids, had some fun, had some lunch, had a coffee, had a laugh then came home. Now having some more fun losing games, watching top gear and waiting for the sun to go over the yardarm so I can have a little drinkie :)

And of course it is POETS day today, and that has nothing to do with poetry!

My day went good, my older sister back in Penn State got nine inches of cold snow. All we get here in Oregon is rain and lots of it.

sherry75 Had a truly great day - just for a change it was mild and a bit sunny, went to local nursery and bought some primroses to put in a stone sink, and some vegetable seeds: had tea and cheese scones in the small Cotswold village of Winchcombe (bliss without the summer traffic and crowds), then home for a cosy supper by the fireside... doesnt get a lot better.

poneke We beat the Ozzies in the 20/20 cricket at AMI Stadium!

It was an absolute pearler of game. McCullum played off the chart! It was a draw,(?! Yes! A draw!) so had to go to a super over. Talk about pressure! And for once our Blackcaps didn't crumble! We Smashed The Aussies!

Yup, Kiwis abroard; you read that right...We Smashed the Aussies in the Cricket! WhoooooHooooo!
