A big cleaning (and counting) fit. I had 377 pieces of clothing and I have thrown away about 100 out-of-fashion pieces. How free and feng-shui do I feel:)

A few weeks ago, I got rid of enough clothes to fill a wardrobe. After a breathing space, I plan to get rid of about the same again. That may add up to fifty pieces. But a hundred? That is amazing!

Today I gave Jonathan a lift to the station. He's going to his girlfriend's parents' house, and all four of them are driving to France to spend a week in the south of France.

Hate Bank holiday weekends (and the worse yet to come eeekk) ... but only one one week to go till holiday. So, all in all the day went as expected (yuk).

Took a cat carrier to our old vet. They sell things like that in reception, and send the proceeds to the Cats Protection League. Good, because the nearest CPL shop is miles away, so this achieves the same end and saves me a drive. Took a couple of bags of things to the British Heart Foundation shop, and a load of rubbish to the tip. The house is getting more air space by the day.
Went out this evening for a giant Chinese scoff. Lovely.
