I agree with demurechicky. I heard Boom Boom Pow for the first time on The Today Show where the Black Eyed Peas were making a guest appearance. The song kind of sticks in your mind.

Usually the song that gets stuck in my head is a song I'll hear while driving into work.
I'll never forget one day while driving into work Paradise By The Dashboard Light came on the radio and of course some of the song instantly became stuck in my head. At work I mentioned to a coworker that the song had become stuck in my head and awhile later she had a customer that bought Meat Loaf's Greatest Hits CD and the customer mentioned it was her favorite song.
