I'm fine, thanks for asking. Do you find the subject matter stimulating or is it a chore to study? I always found my subjects in school fascinating.

It's fascinating, I have to say :) The hardest thing is just getting my backside in gear and sitting down to do it... there's always so much other stuff that needs to be done too... washing, ironing, cleaning, decorating, shopping...
For example I had to take my car down to the tyre place this afternoon as I had a screw embedded in one of my tyres. I daren't pull it out in case my tyre then went 'phhht'. I have no spare for my car, it has this foam stuff that you squirt in as a temporary measure to get you to a garage... well, I didn't want to be doing that. Well they took the screw out and *so far* no puncture so fingers crossed it stays that way :)

Good luck with your "tyre" (tire)!
And yes, RJ, I like your light house better, too, lol.

I apologised, flopsy's forgiven me. Been a tough week on the home front. I think my sense of humour needs fine-tuning.
I'd love to live in a lighthouse.
Does anyone remember the TV series 'Life and Loves of a She-Devil'? I coveted that lighthouse.

Did they at least submerge the tire in water to see if it had a slow leak? How long was the screw that was in the tire? I'd keep an eye on it if I was you Cat.
You have your work cut out for you. I'd shudder to think about going to school right now. I don't think I could cut it with all the other distractions.

Nothing to forgive, Jabber. I loved that programme too, and I've been to that lighthouse - well, the outside of it anyway. I always wanted one too, except I don't do heights which would have made it rather impractical - not to mention having to get curved furniture.
I know a very old shaggy dog story about a lighthouse in the middle of the Sahara desert but, as a treat for you all, I'll keep it to myself.

Oh yes I can...
LOL, years ago I used to babysit for my boss's kids and I told them the story in instalments over several weeks/months. I met them again years later by which time they had children of their own... when they were told who I was, they said "the lighthouse lady!"

I was extremely fortunate, because both brother and sister are over six feet tall and I'm only little - they could have harpooned me with a lighthouse!

The screw wasn't that long and it had gone in at an angle so it seems to have failed to go right in... Mmm, no comment on that sentence...
Anyway I'm hoping no puncture, I don't want to find a flat tyre tomorrow morning... And no, they didn't even take the wheel off the car, they squirted some liquid on to see if it bubbled...
I have had two tyres blowout on me in the past... not good. The first was a bang and the car safely brought to a halt just as I entered a quiet Scottish village, I changed the wheel and carried on. The second was a bit more frightening as my son was only 3 weeks old when one of the suspension coils snapped and went straight through the front nearside tyre. The car was only three years old, just serviced and a brand new tyre! Needless to say I changed that car asap, and swore off that make for life ...
Now, can I ask, what's with all the lighthouses?

Yes, Bunny, yes! The All Blacks! I knew I was close, but no cigar. The All Blacks! I want to watch them play, whatever it is they play, and maybe now with my new Direct TV, I can pick them up on satellite. Everyone I know loves them!
Anton, you would be in a corner drooling because the CU and/or CSU fans would probably tear that Nebraska hat, tee-shirt, sweatshirt, or anything else related to the Huskers from you and put you in that corner, where you would then be crying out for mercy! It's a FIERCE rivalry! The only thing CSU and CU hate more than each other (from a sports standpoint only, mind you) are the Nebraska Cornhuskers.
Aren't sports fun? And so sporting!

Yes, yes, The All Blacks! I forgot they were an NZ team, too, complete with the Maori war chant. I love them and I've never even seen them. And rugby? Oh, how I love rugby and rugby players. The best line I have ever, ever heard came from a rugby player who came suavely sidling up to me in Moose's Saloon. He made me laugh, and making a girl laugh is 90% of the "effective line." Let me know if you want details -- his line didn't work on me, but it did get him invited to sit at our table with the rest of his HUGE rugby friends. So a good time was had by all.
Fred, may Palmetto Bugs also play in your new tournament? We are very polite and mostly house-trained, as well. Plus, we never eat catfood directly out of the bowl, like other Palmetto Bugs have been known to do.
If Anton is ga-ga over a 6-foot redhead, it has to be either Nicole Kidman, Sigourney Weaver, or a REALLY tall Irish Setter. Or, it could be Rene Russo. She's almost that tall, I think, since she used to model.
Spill, Anton, Spill!

What on earth is a Gaboon Viper? I think we need a photo, Anton. "She walks, she talks, she slithers on her belly like a REPtiiiiiile!"(Does anyone on the planet know the song "Oh Oh Oh Sharon" besides me? I hope so.)
"You know the same rowdy crowd that was here last night is back again!"

I think both your lighthouses are lovely.
RJ, what is your avatar? It looks like The Perfect Christmas Home. But what is it really?
I am still hanging my head in shame for not remembering they are "The All Blacks."

Oh, it's another version of a "lighthouse."
It's almost impossible to post here when you're the only one here, but you're all either 7 hours ahead of me, or two days ahead of me, or an hour ahead or behind me, and apparently, no nightowls.
It's lonely out here at 5:31 p.m. MDT!
