Nerdlet is a metal sheep and Boy is a wood pig. OH is a wood sheep. So that makes me the top predator and in charge!
I've always found the Chinese horoscope traits fit us better than the Greek for some reason, Nerdlet is unconvinced!

What cake?
Nerdlet's Steampunk cake creation with little gears and levers and dials lasted about 45 seconds and was extremely delicious.
You can have some bibingka, Mike just brought some over from the Philippines and I can highly recommend it.

I'm very bad at remembering to use cameras to record events.
I've always thought it was linked to the fact that I'm a storyteller, so I remember things in full detail, with sounds and emotions and shadings and can visualise things better in my head.Photos always seemed a poor imitation.
Boy is much better at it, he was given a digital camera for his birthday and uses it a lot. But cake overwhelmed his higher thought processes. :D

Somewhere there must be a place that makes cog cutters, but at the moment every tooth is done by hand. She'd apparently been making them for ages, and the other decorative bits. They've been in boxes in her bedroom. The cake she made and assembled on Friday to surprise me. Too tricky to hide the whole thing.
