Mine would be Moulin Rouge! and Buffy for a tv show!

Watched the movie Fresh again the other day. Truly great movie and one I would recommend to anyone who has not seen it yet.

That would be "Coraline." It was, how shall I say, 'interesting.' After having thought about it for awhile now, I like it more than I did while watching it. Wybie is a cool character. I adored him. And what's not to like about "Other Mother?"

AlecHolland The last film I watched was a DVD of Jaws 3. It was really bored on a cold and rainy Sunday afternoon and it just seemed to fit the bill. I mean, what a plot - Great white sharks wreak havoc on Sea World! Oh well, at least it wasn't Jaws: The Revenge...

I watched Gran Torino last night, a good film and nothing at all like I expected it to be. Well worth a visit.

Watched "Cloverfield" on Sky Movies last night, it was a reasonable film but in no way lived up the to excessive hype, good idea to make a monster film with the monster (which was scary, something out of Lovecraft and in no way dinosaur like) secondary to the cannon fodder, and the sight of various Manhattan vacant socialite types being crushed or eaten or zombified was very emotionally satisfying lol.

I saw all five movies nominated for Best Picture on the Saturday before the Oscars at our local AMC theater. It was a great marathon, and I got unliminted popcorn and soft drinks all day in the $30 admission price. I saw "Milk", "The Reader", "The Strange Case of Benjamin Button", "Slumdog Millionaire" and "Frost/Nixon". I enjoyed them all.

The last movie I saw in the theater was "Taken", starring Liam Neeson. Pretty good action flick that didn't make you think too hard, which is all I seem to do these days.

Last movie I saw was "Milo and Otis" over the weekend (which I watched with my nephews who laughed all the way through it).

A few nights ago I watched Kenneth Branagh's marvellous 'Much Ado About Nothing'. It's one of my favourite Shakespearian plays. Kenneth Branagh and Emma Thompson as Benedick and Beatrice are brilliant and Michael Keaton is a hoot as Dogberry the Constable. Even Keanu Reeves is good in this one, and that's saying a lot. Above all, Roger Lanser's cinematography is absolutely breath-taking, the colours, the music, the sheer sensuality of this movie make it a delight for eye and ear.
