Watched "Quantum of Solace" last evening. I'm don't think Daniel Craig is the best actor to play James Bond, but overall, I enjoyed the movie.

Just saw "Bottle Rocket" on the DVR today, it was pretty funny. Owen Wilson fans will certainly enjoy it.

Major Payne, it was on tv a couple weeks ago. Most of my tv watching consists of sitcoms and sporting events.

I watched Con Air yesterday. My husband was surprised that I hadn't seen it before.

I purchased "Let the Right One In" a couple of days ago. I watched it last night. What an awesome movie. I think it's one of the best vampire movies ever. It's a gem from Sweden. There is an American remake coming at the end of the month. I think I'm already biased though. I can't see how it can top the original. I think I viewed this movie about 5 times before I finally bought it. Netflix.

Recently I watched the ESPN 30 for 30 "The Two Escobars" about Colombian soccer and the drug warlords in the 80s and 90s. Excellent documentary, as most of those in that series are.

Cellular, with William H. Macy and Kim Basinger. Very good, with lots of thrills and suspense.

I just saw "The Expendables". It's not what you'd call a good movie but it made me feel better after a bad day.

Black Hawk Down. It was a really intense movie; made me feel a bit differently about soldiers to be honest. The great (and attractive :P) actors there were a huge bonus: Zeljko Ivanek, Eric Bana, Jason Isaacs, Orlando Bloom. :D

Boxjaw, I watched Let The Right One In a while ago and I too thought it was a great movie. I had to watch it twice though to take it all in, with the subtitles and all. The two young actors were brilliant as the bullied boy and the vampire girl who sorted out his antagonisers. Another one I watched recently was Case 39, with Renee Zellweger. I really wasn't expecting the little girl to turn out as she did and I found it pretty scary.

I've just watched Let the Right One In - fantastic. I forgot about the subtitles after the first five minutes.

supersal - LTROI is one of my favourite films of the last few years. I do not have high expectations for the Hollywood treatment of the film; it seems rather pointless.
The last film I watched was "City Island", an incredibly funny piece about a corrections officer (Andy Garcia) and his dysfunctional family who live in The Bronx.

The last movie I saw in the theater was "Robin Hood" (not bad). I recently re-watched "The Shawshank Redemption" (my favorite).

This past weekend I watched "The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford" and "Dark City." 'Jesse James' had excellent cinematography, but wasn't the most intriguing movie I've ever seen and the pacing was a little off, still overall a good movie. 'Dark City' is one of the better sci-fi movies I've ever seen.

I also watched "The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford" last weekend, again. You are so right. The cinematography is fantastic. I believe that it is probably the best Brad Pitt film. Not for everyone, but certainly very engaging.

I watched "The Blind Side" this weekend. I thought it was pretty good. Of course, I spent 40 minutes after the movie googling info on the real Michael Oher afterwards!

Elf, with Will Ferrell. It was a silly movie, and I don't like Will Ferrell, anyway.
