Mine would be Moulin Rouge! and Buffy for a tv show!

Finally got around to watching 50/50 when it came on one of the movie channels this week. I go back and forth when it comes to Joseph Gordon-Levitt movies, but I really enjoyed the film and found it quite funny, which you wouldn't normally expect from a movie centered around cancer. My real favorite in the cast, though, was Anna Kendrick. Up til now, I'd only seen her in the Twilight franchise and she really impressed me here.

Caseena The Wild Bunch, White Heat, and East of Eden. I also rewatched Pirates of the Caribbean, and it was still as exciting and entertaining as ever.

Caseena Mpkitty, yes. Isn't their 31 Days of Oscar great? Also I just saw Poltergeist for the first time and will see Close Encounters when it's on later.

Caseena Spring, Summer, Fall, Winter and Spring: slow, very pleasant and refreshing. I liked how the seasons related to his age and what he was doing in life.

The Lady from Shanhai

Captain Blood: okay, entertaining

House of Mirth: I like a lot of period movies, but this one didn't do anything for me.

Caseena Close Encounters. I was kind of underwhelmed by it, but I've at least seen it now.

We saw "Skyfall" at the cheap theater. I liked it.

Caseena The Thief of Bagdad. What a Technicolor fantasy! What colors! Oh, the colors! You don't see colors like that in movies these days, like in The Red Shoes, Meet Me in St. Louis, Gone With the Wind, Robin Hood, etc.

Oh, and the movie was fun too. I probably would have loved it if I'd seen it as a kid.

Caseena The Emperor and the Assassin. I'd never even heard of it before yesterday. I really enjoyed it. It had a Shakespearian-esque storyline, well-done characters, good cinematography, and the battle scenes were very real, never going over the top. If you're interested in Chinese history (though how accurate this is, I can't say), give this a try.

One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest.

Made in 1975 and starring the great Jack Nicholson.
