If you have been to a movie that was so bad that you had to leave the theater, say what it was.

Daaanieeel Just remembered watching the original Pink Panther movies on DVD recently. Food ten really boring and slow moving with few laughs in between. Just my opinion.

I do not get a chance to go to the theater, so the last rental that I returned to its red Netflix envelope without seeing it to the end was a Lars von Trier film called "Antichrist". I have a strong stomach, but this flick was vile.

Hubby and I walked out on 7 Psychos. It has to be an all time worst. TED was better, and that is just wrong in so many ways :)

'Planes, Trains, and Automobiles'. I thought with Steve Martin and John Candy, both excellent comedic actors, that was in for a treat.
Boy, was i wrong!. I can remember the scene i walked out on too, on the airplane with John Candy farting...
Another one i was ready to walk out on was 'The Greek Tycoon' with Anthony Quinn, lord i was bored, so were the about 6 other people in the theatre, so much so that when i started making comments out loud to the screen, people started making their own comments, that was more fun than the movie itself.

Greatguggly I loved Planes, Trains & Automobiles. Other than The Jerk it may be the only Steve Martin movie I like.

Chavs I was so bored that I would have left during Mel Gibson's The Passion of The Christ but I didn't want anyone to think I was staging one of those "walk outs" the media was full of at the time. So I had to stay and be punished. I slept eventually.

I haven't seen a movie in a theater in years. But I believe I only walked out of a movie once. It wasn't because I thought the movie was bad (Ride with the Devil) I just couldn't stand the utter racism displayed in the film. However, I did watch it years later with more of an open mind, and have since added it to my DVD collection (of over 2,200 movies) with a better appreciation of the message, and story it expressed.

Caseena I don't think I ever have. I've been to the theatre only twice in the past four years (for the same movie). Unlike with loaning movies from the library, it costs a lot to go to a theatre, so if I get a dud at home, I can stop it and not have lost anything except a little time. At the movies, you have to pay first and can't always get your money back if you walk out early.
