If I'm playing on violin, Eleanor Rigby, because it really requires emotion to get the right tone out of the strings, especially on the "picks up the rice in the church where a wedding has been" progression. You can't just play the notes.

I remembered when the Muppets did "Octopus's Garden" in the style of an underwater fantasy. I like that rendition better than the original song.

"Hey Bulldog" is my actual favorite, but I play "Eleanor Rigby" so often (and have for so many years) that my family and friends assume it is.
