Paris, for the cemeteries, metro and musty decadence in certain places and states of mind.
Berlin, for the vigor, Berliner Verkehrsbetriebe and the decadence that was lost and then found again.
Bryson City, North Carolina, for its size, narrow gauge train and stones throw from the Blue Ridge Parkway.

My favorite city would have to be Chicago. So much to see and do, and the people there are very friendly. I have been there around 10 times, mostly in the late 1990's and early 2000's.
