My favorite flower is a rose. Because they come in so many colors & smell so wonderful! So what's your favorite flower and why.

I will go with the rose. It may be such a common choice, but so many great people and historical events can be tied into this great flower aside from the aesthetic reasons that make it so beloved.

Any flowers at all, especially those with strong scents. I adore gardenias, lilacs, roses, et al.

Of course it is roses, but just not any old rose, my favourite is Mr. Lincoln, a gorgeous dark red with an absolutely wonderful perfume.

Lilacs, lilies-of-the-valley, almost anything purple, daisies, cornflowers, Queen Anne's lace, wild strawberries. Sunflowers.
Creeping myrtle and phlox, blue hydrangea, wisteria.
