What quizzes are you making or just made?

I'm in the middle of writing a quiz challenge.

I've got several on the go at the moment; one is a long-cherished project that was prompted by a street-side exhibit I saw last summer; one is a continuation of a series of quizzes started by my team-mates; one is a challenge quiz (which is proving a major challenge to me!); and the others are just stubs from brainwaves (or brain dumps) I had recently.

However, none are likely to appear too soon as I've too much else to do!

I'm patiently waiting for a Challenge to be edited, and chewing fingernails that the Challenge I've got my eye on doesn't get snapped up!

peach12 I'm working on a Revolutionary War quiz and an astronomy Quiz.

Lots of half-baked ideas at the moment, so lots of quiz stubs - shall we say "quizlets"? That makes them sound rather cute and endearing, like "piglets"...

Just hope I don't run out of creative steam before the quizlets are completely baked!

I'm planning on creating a quiz template for a number of astronomy and video game quizzes, along with a cephalopod quiz (for who knows what reason) and two quizzes given to me for 'Kyle's Quiz Commission.'

I'm working on a quiz on Venomous animals, a quiz on suicides, and a quiz on traffic jams. (I hope those topics don't somehow reflect back on me.)

I've just got the Challenge "taxi" one underway atm, the one I was stumped on. I now have 4 questions done though, so it's getting there, slowly but surely...

Bruce007 I am going to start making a quiz on the last episode of "ReBoot" tomorrow, and I still want to find time to finish the challenge quiz I started nearly a month ago.

I've done all of the research now on my 'Fire Ant' etc challenge and have written question 1. I should hopefully have it finished soon, the research has worn me out lol

I currently am writing "Etymology of the Funtrivia category names" but it will take me a while.

I have two submitted to the editors for review right now as well, one on interesting underground features of Chicago and the other a follow-up to my recent quiz about charities.

Also, hi all!

ThurstAsh Kscleaves, since when can you submit two quizzes at once? I always thought you could only submit one at a time.

I'm working on finding something interesting to write about at the moment.

I've got nineteen quizzes in various stages of preparation at the moment. I tend to come up with an idea for a quiz and create it, then go hunting for the information needed. I've had one on the hob for three years and still haven't found enough good info to flesh it out properly. One, almost ready to roll out, is 'Don't Wear Socks With Sandals', a fashion quiz in response to Terry's challenge.

And there's no reason why one can't submit two quizzes for consideration is there?

Hi all
I am patiently waiting for a challenge to be edited (nearly 2 weeks of chewing nails to see if its ok and if editing needs to be done), 2 more in line waiting to be submitted when the first one has gone online.
Just doing research on another 5 or 6 to follow in a series from my first quiz.
I'll then sit back and wait for the next crazy brainwave I have.

Guys, how many quizzes you can have submitted at a time depends on your author 'status'. Most newer authors, or those who've had difficulty getting quizzes online in the past, are only allowed one at a time, whereas some older hands who have shown they can consistently write 'clean' quizzes are allowed more. Cym you are obviously in the latter category, Ash you might need to pay a little more attention to detail before submitting your quizzes, or you just need to get a few more good ones under your belt.

Of course, one or more of our esteemed Eds may wish to add more to my sketchy explanation!

Oh, and I'm working on a knitting/martial arts Challenge - all the research done, just too lazy right now to write it up - and have vague hopes of someday getting round to writing about satire. Then there's one on stuffing, but before them I've got Kyle's "Help!" commission to get stuck into - still not quite sure what angle I'm going to take on that one, but it'll come!

Awww, c'mon, ing - you know I'm itching to see the results of your research! ;-))

Having read all the quiz creation rules and notes and guidelines, to satisfy myself that there was nothing to stop me writing FITB questions, I wrote a ten-question common bond quiz: nine multiple choice and a final FITB.

Only when I pressed submit did I discover that there is something to stop me writing FITB questions, but I had to write a whole quiz to find out.

Apparently you have to have three quizzes accepted first - so I can write two more quizzes and then submit this one. Can I, now?

This is like being told you can have a bit of chocolate, so you go for the chocolate, and it's whisked out of your reach. "No, you have to go out digging Brussels sprouts and spring greens first. Then you can come back for the chocolate. Didn't anyone tell you? Oh... well, we knew - and you found out eventually, didn't you?"
