If anyone has heard of Still Game, I have made quizzes on that, but as it is unheard of outside the UK, it has taken almost a year to get 20 ratings. Can people please play and rate them!

Rowena and Skank thanks for the help. I was not sure if it was not uncommon for a quiz on an obscure topic to never get rated. Also thanks for the link, there a some treasures in there I may have never found.

I've just done a quiz on the TV series 'Being Human'. It's had 54 plays and is currently rated 'Very Hard', which is puzzling me. It's pretty basic, with no 'who said this in the third episode' type of questions. I didn't expect it to get many plays as it's not a very well known series, and I was expecting a long wait for it to be rated, but I wasn't expecting it the difficulty level to be any harder than 'Average'.

I just completed three quizzes, two on the office season 5 and one on the Seoul, Korea Olympics in 1988.

The first few quizzes I created were probably too difficult (though they seem to be fairly popular in spite of that), so I've toned things down quite a bit so that the average question has a 60-80% solve rate. I enjoy impossible trivia as much as the next guy, but I don't want to scare everyone away with minutiae about obscure authors and their home lives.
Something that I've been doing lately and thoroughly enjoying is adding interesting information to my quizzes when people send me comments. I just had a message from a Welsh player on my "Dragons!" quiz with a fascinating morsel about the dragon on the flag of Wales, so I added said morsel (and gave credit to my interlocuter) to the I.I. I think this makes my quizzes richer (and longer!), and I love the collaborative nature of such additions--my quizzes becoming EVERYONE'S quizzes.

I have the same problem with a very simple quiz I wrote on the basics of SimAnimals - on which my 5 year old then managed to score 10/10. It's dead easy if you've played the game and obviously pretty much unguessable if you haven't. Like yours it's rated difficult because it had an initial spurt of plays for Early Bird/Gold Madness purposes which took it to difficult and then put off some of those that might genuinely have played it.

I'm sure that's the case. One of the questions is a T/F one about whether vampires can tolerate daylight in this series. 68% have got it right, but vampires are seen in daylight in practically every episode so I'd have expected that figure to be a lot higher. I suppose I wrote it on the premise that people wouldn't play a TV quiz unless they were familiar with the series!
